PSC 201 - American Government Credit Hours: 3 Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course is a study of American federal governmental institutions with a focus on the Constitution and key founding documents; the functions of executive, legislative and judicial branches; civil liberties and rights; and the role and influence of the electorate, interest groups, and the media. Prerequisite(s): Completion of ENG 155 with a grade of “C” or higher, or equivalent GPA or placement score *On the Statewide Articulation Agreement for transfer to all South Carolina Public Colleges/Universities.
