NUR 106 - Pharmacologic Basics in Nursing Practice

This introductory course outlines the basic concepts of pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacotherapeutics. The process of clinical calculations is introduced, as well as the major drug classifications.
Prerequisite(s): ADN Track: BIO 255, NUR 105 , NUR 134  and Acceptance into ADN program LPN Transition Track: BIO 210 , BIO 211 , BIO 225 , ENG 101 , MAT 110 , PSY 201 , Humanities/Fine Arts Elective and Acceptance into LPN Transition program
