This course is a study of network operating system technologies including network operating system architecture, the installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of network resources, and network administration functions such as user/group maintenance, network security, print services, remote access, fault tolerance, backup and recovery. This course addresses Hybrid Infrastructure Administration, Securing and Updating Windows, Backup and Disaster Recovery, High Availability and Failover Cluster Management, and Troubleshooting Windows Servers.
Prerequisite(s): IST 161 or permission of CPT department advisor
