IST 204 - Buildable Scalable Networks

This course covers principles and techniques of scalable networks. Topics include building multi-layer networks, controlling overhead traffic in growing routed networks, and router capabilities used to control traffic over LANs and WANs. Upon completion, students should be able to design; implement; and improve traffic flow, reliability, redundancy, and performance in enterprise networks. This is the fourth of four courses that use the Cisco CCNA exam objectives as a framework to teach networking, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and IT administration concepts and skills using hands-on, simulated, and virtual activities, as well as, traditional classroom interactions.
